Instead of oil paintings today I did several paintings on the ipad using an app called artrage. It has an extensive tool set including oil paints. I did the same process as if I was doing an physical painting: underpainting, block out a mass in umber, than add the colors. It was really fun, and while different, both processes had a lot in common.
